Where did all the old players go?

I havent been online for a few months due to irl circumstances, i logged in a few times within the past 1.5 months, didnt stick for more then 3 hours each time, however there was nobody from before. All the old active players quit, the whole staff team changed (As far as i know) What the **** happened? Where is everyone?

Every trial mod i asked answers with "Iv'e been around for years" or something like that. No you really weren't. So what's going on @BiGUNMAN ?

Even if it was a server reset, not everyone would quit..
I caught @Torbait online yesterday, he didn't seem like he knew much either, he could only guess as i could.

I have been playing since 1.4 (I think it was a long time ago) under the name of smartson. I quit around 1.8 due to my PvP high. I have been pvping since 1.8 and then came back and I am actually familiar with the staff because I played with them when I was around.

I thought Old Town was first hosted in 1.5.4 - 1.5.7, though i might be wrong.
Though "smartson" sounds rather familiar., were you a mod back then too?

People are getting older; becoming busier and don't have time to play.

No, it may have been early 1.5. I don't have the best memory... Also no, I applied like 5 times as little 4th grade me and that wasn't a good idea looking back on it.

People always come and go, the game gets old, or they stop playing games in general. People, like everything else in life, are constantly changing. On occasion, we do see older players come back to check out the server, thought that most often times happens in the Summer, and isn't for long, as they have usually grown out of the game (as in no longer find an interest for it).

By the way, nice update on the trailer, you're getting more decent at it.

A good several of them quit here as a result of a few getting banned and now play on other servers. I have neither the time nor the patience to, though I doubt that I'm one of the ones to whom you refer.

Hey. hey. I'm not alone on the forums anymore,

Not all staff are new though, a lot are gone but some ancients still preside.

• Hudson (Still plays but resigned.)

The currently active staff members, central europe time at least are PifftingCod and Icebear411, from 7 am to around 2am, they are mostly there.
