I keep trying to make a district for me but it keeps saying, "Canceling - time out". I am a regular and I did exactly what the tutorials said to do but it's just not letting me.

I'll try to help you when I get on. make sure you are doing the following:
Type /dist
Click the golden hoe
Type the radius(quickly)

This is what you need to do
/dist claim <radius>
the canceling timed out means you werent quick enough to type the radius in chat.
